Interesting color...my first to see this marking. I studied this bird...found it unique...I guess I liked the strong bill and the big crested head. I hand painted the male and female North-American Kingfisher on each side of my motorcycle tank. I do have a drawing of it in my pic; Trials riding. I also liked the name of the bird.
